Power-Ed® Online Teacher Training Program
This unique program has multiple components. Similar individual components may be provided by other sources, but no other program combines them into a long-term, managed, comprehensive staff development program that is embedded in the school culture.

Comprised of research-based strategies, the elements of this component are as follows: - Brief explanations of each strategy
- Checkups to foster analysis
- Multiple examples of how to use the strategy at all grade levels and in all subject areas
- Assignments to integrate the strategy into teacher plans
- Quizzes with feedback to check understanding
- Forums to share with other participants
- Incorporates the building of collegiality and knowledge through Power-Ed®'s unique managed Learning Communities
- Share student products and experiences with the Learning Community.
- The online Power-Ed® Learning Coach
The online Learning Coach provides support and follow-up to Learning Communites and individuals through: - Weekly communication and support
- Assistance and follow-up in asssignments
- Mentoring in the classroom implementation of the strategies
- Feedback regarding the course projects and activities
