Certificate Programs

In partnership with AdvancED, Power-Ed® offers an International Teacher Award Program. Combined with the Power Strategies® courses, four other training courses are offered to complete the Teacher Award Program.

Two Levels of Teacher Awards

Silver Star Award

Experience in American Education

Gold Star Award

Proficiency in American Education
International Teaching Award

Requirements: Complete 4 courses in approved Power Strategies online courses.

Transfer limit: Up to 2 courses from approved onsite AdvancED courses.

Time limit: 2 years

Add another 4 courses in required courses to earn the Gold Star Award.

Requirements: Complete 8 courses in approved Power Strategies online courses.

Transfer limit: Up to 2 courses from approved onsite AdvancED courses.

Time limit: 3 years

Each teacher who enrolls in an AdvancED Award Program will be responsible for registering in courses and making sure that the courses are counted toward the award program he/she desires.
