Admission Requirements

Unlike some other online schools, Power-Ed does not require standardized exams like the SAT, ACT, GRE, or GMAT.

Learners seeking admission to the Power-Ed Certification program must meet certain requirements:

• Interest in spending three to four hours per week learning exciting new teaching strategies
• Access to a computer with high speed internet connection (not dialup)
• Be a full time teacher or have access to teach at least one class for at least one hour a day, 5 days a week. This can be done as a full/part-time teacher, teacher assistant, or administrator.
• Be available to participate in a virtual learning community with your Learning Coach and peers for about 45 minutes each week over the Internet
